Discovering A New Path

During my 10 years as a website mistress at my local quilt shop, I saw a lot (and I mean, A LOT) of quilt patterns go past my desk. I got a good idea of what makes a good quilt pattern and what does NOT. After retirement, I decided to try to put that knowledge to use. I set out to create a series of quilt patterns that are easy enough to follow for the first time quilter, but fun enough for the experienced.

I have been sewing and quilting since I was 8 years old. I started out hand sewing doll clothes then graduated to making my own clothes. Later, it was making pretty dresses for the young girls in my life, including prom and pageant dresses.

In 1997, an aunt of my friend Mary convinced us both to attend Camp Tecumseh's quilt camp...and so it began. I have been hooked ever since. I ended up working at the local quilt shop that "Tia Liz" took us to pick out fabric for our first quilts. And now, along with my daughter Marcia and a special friend Judy,  I occasionally host that same quilt camp!

Life is good and I can't wait to see where the Lord leads me on this next adventure!
